E3D Pilot documentation
E3D Pilot gives your AI coding tools a multi-model second opinion. You connect an editor or desktop client to one hosted endpoint, https://pilot.e3d.ai/mcp, with an API key. You can also ask on the website with just an account. When your tool faces a contestable decision, several independent models answer, a synthesizer returns one reviewed answer, and any disagreement is reported rather than hidden.
Where to start
- Quickstart: sign up, buy a pack and ask, then optionally create a key to connect a client.
- For agents: the agent quickstart: discover, authenticate, quote, run, read the result, handle errors and control spend.
- Authentication: sign-in by password or emailed code, and optional API keys.
- Tools: every tool the endpoint offers, generated from a recorded
tools/listresponse. - Credits and billing: how a debate is priced and settled, and what each refusal means.
- Errors and limits: every stable error code and rate limit.
- Security and data handling: what we store, what we never store, and how to report a problem.
- Changelog: what changed and when.
Status and support
There is no public status page yet. If the endpoint stops answering, first check Errors and limits for the refusal you received, then email support@pilot.e3d.ai with the time, the tool you called, and the error text. Never include your API key or password. Security reports go to security@pilot.e3d.ai; see Security and data handling.
