Records
An AI decision log: keeping a record of how a decision was reached.
Months later, the question is rarely what you decided. It is why. A saved debate keeps the question, the answer, how far the models agreed and the objections that were raised.
Why a decision record helps
The reasoning goes missing
Most decisions are remembered as an outcome. The alternatives you rejected and the risks you accepted live in a chat window that is never opened again. When circumstances change, nobody can tell whether the original reasoning still holds.
A short record fixes that: what was asked, what was recommended, what was disputed and what you chose.
What E3D Pilot saves
Each debate is saved to your account with its answer, the consensus level, the recorded dissent and the full transcript. You can read or download it from History and delete any debate whenever you like.
What a useful record contains
A debate gives you the first four. The last one is yours to add.
The question
Exactly what was asked, with the constraints that applied at the time.
The answer and consensus level
The synthesized conclusion and how far the models agreed.
The dissent
The points where a model disagreed, which are the risks you can revisit later.
What each model said
Each position, labelled with the model that took it.
Your decision and why
What you chose, including when you went against the answer. This part is written by you.
A simple habit
Ask before you commit
Run the debate when the choice is still open.
Write your decision beside it
Add a line in your own notes or ticket saying what you chose and why.
Revisit the dissent
When the situation changes, check whether the objection that was raised has become the problem.
What this does not do. A saved debate is a record of what AI models argued, not an audit trail of your approval, and it is not advice. You remain the decision-maker.

Questions
Short answers.
Can I delete a saved debate?
Yes. You can delete any debate whenever you like.
Is the record legally binding or an audit log?
No. It is a record of what the models said, kept for your own reference. It does not approve or certify a decision.
Can I read the full transcript?
Yes. The full transcript is available to read or download from History.

A note on limits. E3D Pilot gives you input, not an approval. Models can be wrong together, and agreement is not proof, so check what matters before you act.
