Text message alerts
These texts go to our own support staff, not to visitors or customers.
What the texts are
When a visitor to this website asks the chat for a person, we send one text message to the E3D Pilot support team (currently one person). The message is one short fixed sentence, a link to the conversation in our help desk and the STOP instruction, and nothing else: it never contains the visitor's words or any personal information about them. These messages are not sent to website visitors, customers or the public, and nobody else can subscribe to them.
Consent to receive these texts
By texting START to (925) 940-5789 from your own mobile phone, you agree to receive text messages from FutCo LLC, doing business as E3D Pilot, alerting you when a website chat needs a person. Message type: support alerts. Message frequency: at most one message for each chat that needs a person, and no more than 10 a day for the whole team. Msg & data rates may apply. Who sends them
FutCo LLC, doing business as E3D Pilot (pilot.e3d.ai), sends the messages from (925) 940-5789.
How support staff join
A member of the support team joins by texting the word START to (925) 940-5789 from their own mobile phone, after the owner has asked them to take chat alerts. We reply with a confirmation: "E3D Pilot: you will receive an alert text when a website chat needs you. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help." Joining is voluntary and is not a condition of any purchase.

How often
At most one message for each chat that needs a person, and no more than 10 a day for the whole team. In practice that is a few a week. Msg & data rates may apply.
Stop or get help
Reply STOP at any time to stop the messages; you will get one confirmation and no more. Reply HELP, or write to support@pilot.e3d.ai, for help.
Your information
We use Twilio to deliver these messages. We do not sell mobile phone numbers, share them with third parties for marketing, or use them for marketing.
